We are actively providing training and supervision services in the areas such as social work, psychology, and applied behaviour analysis. We also welcome students wishing to gain voluntary experience with us. Our typical supervisees are individuals pursuing their master’s level qualification in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and hoping to gain the credential of Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).
We at Sunrise Behavioural Health believe in sharing our professional expertise with other professionals, carers, parents, and organisations to benefit those who need behavioural services. Over the years we have developed several behavioural training packages on a range of issues such as managing complex and challenging behaviours, positive behaviour support training for a range of professionals including health, allied health, school, and disability workers. Other than these modules, we have also developed skill acquisition programs, treatment, and training programs for individuals with intellectual disability, autism, and ADHD.
At Sunrise Behavioural Health, we have a team of seasoned practitioners and researchers working collaboratively who understand the schools, their policies, multiple variables that hinders and enable the successful implementation of support strategies within the educational contexts. Our researchers and practitioners have a combined 50 years of professional experience in the sector. We are actively supporting government and non-government schools in their quest to achieve better educational and social outcomes for some of the most disadvantaged students in an inclusive school environment.
We place a high value on ‘capacity building’ of families / parents of children with developmental disabilities who seeks to utilise the ABA approach to support the optimal growth and development of their children. We customise the training and supervision packages for those families to meet the critical needs of children. Families have multiple options to access our training and supervision packages.
At Sunrise Behavioural Health, we believe in empowering others through practical training, volunteering experience, and formal internship opportunities. Currently, we are able to offer internship opportunities in the following areas
Psychology (4+2 & 5+1 pathways to become psychologist)
Social Work – Field Placements
Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)
